Clams with Gnocchi and Herb Butter Sauce

Serves 4 (1 cup each)
Prep time 30 min / Total time 40 min

A light, savoury, delicious dinner that’s easy to make in no time!

1 can (142 g)
Gold Seal® Clams, drained
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup finely diced onions
1 pkg (500 g) gnocchi
  salt & freshly cracked pepper, to taste
1 Tbsp finely chopped chives
1 Tbsp finely chopped basil
6 asparagus, blanched, cut into bite-size pieces
2 Tbsp grated fresh Parmesan cheese

  1. Melt butter with olive oil in a large non stick frying pan over medium/high heat.
  2. Once melted add onions and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add gnocchi & clams, and continue to sauté for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Season with salt & pepper, add chives, basil & asparagus and stir together. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and serve.

Enjoy with a Caesar salad.
